Visiting City of Oxford

Oxford is often a lovely city situated in the South East a part of England. Oxford is often a fantastic place to visit with a population of approximately 165 000. Oxford is popular area for tourists to go to due to its atmosphere. As well as the atmosphere, Oxford has a good amount of things to do, places to visit and places to remain. Some of my favourite activities/places to find out in Oxford are:

Cutteslow and Sunnymead Park - Being one the larger parks in Oxford, Cutteslow and Sunnymead Park is extremely popular. This park is open 24/7. There are many things you can do within this park.  Some of those unfortunate things in Cutteslow and Sunnymead Park can be a paddling pool for the children; two kids play areas, a miniature railway, mini golf along with a ping pong table. For the mini railway, the ticket costs are: single fare for adults and children- ??1, Children under two-Free along with a Saver Ticket for ten rides- ??8. Public transport round the park is pretty good.

Barton Pool - This Swimming pool has four lanes and is also located within the east of Oxford. The opening times are, Mon-Fri: 6.15am-10pm and Sat-Sun: 8am-8.30pm. Barton Pool has sessions for both adults and children.  Children under 17 can swim free of charge.

Museum of Oxford - This museum established fact for its historical artefacts. This museum is definitely worth a call. The opening times for Museum of Oxford are, Tue-Sat: 10am-5pm. In the Museum of Oxford, you can find guided tours. Entering the Museum of Oxford is free of charge, nevertheless for group visits there is a small fee. Oxford Botanic Garden - The opening times change throughout the year. The garden has three completely different sections. Firstly, the glasshouses, which have plants that cannot go ahead and take harsh British weather, therefore would be wise to live in the glasshouses. Secondly, the Walled Garden, that have different plants which can be grouped together. Lastly, beyond your Walled Garden, this beautiful area has a selection of pretty and colourful plants.  F

Templars Square Shopping Centre - This shopping centre has all you might actually desire. Templars Square Shopping Centre includes stores like, Iceland, Boots, Carphone Warehouse, WHSmith, and Peacocks. Also within the Templars Square Shopping Centre are delicious restaurants. Oxford is often a fantastic place to visit with the amount of attractions, for locals and tourists.  Throughout Oxford there are sites to see and places to travel.
